Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, and with his three classmates, created a band group called White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they won. Although he has always been attracted to music, he also hoping to be an attorney or physical therapist. Working part-time in a local bakery is his very first job to make money for his family. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This was the reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010, and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. In the contest, the group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to be the winner. They were however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal with One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
